About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned transportation professional to lead our transportation engineering practice in Florida and contribute to our national practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and executing transportation projects for FDOT and local governments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in identifying marketing opportunities and collaborating to win transportation projects from clients including FDOT, cities, counties, and municipalities.
  • Manage projects, overseeing the production of all project work, ensuring timely, profitable, and high-quality delivery.
  • Build and maintain respectful working relationships with project managers and other leaders within the company.
  • Support and participate in the development and mentorship of staff.
  • Actively engage in professional organizations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in transportation.
  • Registered professional engineer (PE) in Florida.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in transportation.
  • Sound transportation project management skills.
  • Proven business development expertise focused on identifying, pursuing, and winning projects.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record.
