Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. This full-time position involves evaluating and treating patients with mental health disorders, including substance abuse issues. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with mental health disorders, including substance abuse issues
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Degree in medicine and licensure as a physician in the State of Connecticut
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a similar role
  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus

What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement program, paid time off, and holidays. As a federally qualified healthcare center (FQHC), this position is eligible for a Loan Repayment Program through HRSA and the STAR loan forgiveness program for Substance Use Disorder professionals.
