Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join their team in Belmont, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

This role involves providing physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The successful candidate will practice in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, direct and supervise support personnel, and manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect patients' ages and situations, including discharge plans.
  • Revised treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner, adhering to facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve performance expectations.
  • Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic math and computer science skills.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
  • Problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution.
  • Ability to teach others and self-assess learning needs, strengths, and professional goals.
  • Computer proficiency, preferably Microsoft Office applications.
  • Variable work schedule flexibility to accommodate hospital/program needs.

Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
