Construction Project Coordinator

Knickerbocker Group is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Coordinator to support the daily management, coordination, and successful completion of day-to-day project tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction process and be proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings/sketches/shop drawings/specifications/product data.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing administrative support to the Construction Project Management team
• Assisting with pre-construction activities, project documentation, coordination, and communication
• Preparing welcome documents for new projects and assisting with material quantity calculations
• Tracking and maintaining subcontractor and vendor insurances and required documentation
• Setting up and maintaining job folders, ERP, and Procore with associated documents
• Preparing client weekly progress reports and reviewing, tracking, and distributing RFIs and submittals

Required qualifications and experience include:

• Associate degree in a construction management related field, preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably working on high-end residential projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required; experience with Microsoft Project, Procore, and Acumatica preferred
• Strong understanding of construction process and competent in reading and interpreting construction drawings/sketches/shop drawings/specifications/product data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated; works well under pressure; able to work with minimal instruction for routine tasks
• Ability to anticipate needs and be resourceful and proactive in resolving issues
