Job Summary:

We are seeking a Yard Jockey/Driver to ensure the cleanliness and safety of tractors and trailers, along with hooking up and the movement of empty trailers to open docks for loading or unloading of orders.

Responsibilities:

Perform pre-trip inspections of yard trucks prior to the start of each shift

Make moves as per shipping requests (e.g., empty to dock 2)

Check trailers to ensure there is no product in them

Inspect trailers prior to movement

Fill out DVIRs noting any exceptions

Report on any repairs needed

Refuel tractors at the end of each shift

Clean yard tractors at the end of each shift, inside and out

Fill out DVIRs of any exceptions noted

Perform other duties as assigned by the shipping clerk or supervisor

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

CDL Class A license
