Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator II, Oncology Specialist

Under the direction of Research Institute Management, the Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator II is responsible for providing coordinator assistance for sponsored clinical studies within the Center for Clinical Research in accordance with Institutional policy, Good Clinical Practice and ICH guidelines as adopted by the FDA.
Responsibilities- Provide coordinator assistance for sponsored clinical studies within the Center for Clinical Research.
- Ensure compliance with Institutional policy, Good Clinical Practice, and ICH guidelines.
- Collaborate with research teams to develop and implement study protocols.
- Coordinate with investigators, study coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of studies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of study progress and results.
- Three years of clinical research coordination experience or relevant clinical experience.
- Registered Nurse-California Licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS).
- Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Basic knowledge of key Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of human subjects' regulatory requirements, and International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP).
- 1+ years of clinical research experience in a hospital setting.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Pediatric clinical research experience.
- Experience working with Study Manager clinical trial management software.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Certified Phlebotomist Tech 1 Skilled in phlebotomy.
- CCRC or CCRP certification preferred.
The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator II will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Physical DemandsThe Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator II will be required to lift and carry 25-35 lbs, push/pull lbs, and perform other physical activities as necessary.
