Certified Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Eden Senior Care in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a CNA at Eden Senior Care, you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of our residents by assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
About the Role
- Provide exceptional care to Guests in a nourishing environment.
- Develop individualized attention plans that encourage each Guest's ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Carry out assignments required for the Guest's activities of daily living (ADL's) which include but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Attend to individual needs of all Guests in regards to incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other needs.
- Implement care strategies that maintain each Guest's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent Guests, turning, repositioning immobile Guests, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin and other areas.
- Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse including checking vital signs, weighing Guests, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
- Maintain knowledge of individual care plans and support the care planning process by providing supervisors with specific information and observations of the Guest's needs, preferences, and report any behavioral changes.
- Collaborate with the Wound Care Nurse as directed.
- Document medical records accurately, detailing care provided and other relevant information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Active CNA Certification
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate: $18.50 - 20.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Shift Differentials: Weekdays ($2.00 PMs), NOCs ($1.00/hr).
- Tuition Reimbursement / Student Loan Repayment Program up to $5,250 annually.
