Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to surgical patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and report patient status to the surgical team, including any changes or concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year - Nursing experience.
