Job Overview

We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at Lighthouse Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Selma, AL. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents.

Estimated Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup in the dining area
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
  • Support resident independence by assisting with daily living activities
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare team
Requirements
  1. Must be at least 18-years of age, High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma)
  2. Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training program
  3. Ability to work some weekends and flexible schedule
  4. Positive attitude toward the elderly, maintain residents confidentiality, treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
  5. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
