About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to our patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and entering prescription information in compliance with state regulations
  • Utilizing various computer systems to process prescriptions, compare orders, and generate labels
  • Packaging and delivering medications following standard procedures to ensure safe and secure delivery
  • Conducting quality assurance checks, reaching out to prescribers and patients when needed, and resolving third-party rejections
  • Preparing manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling the required medications from inventory, and completing necessary scanning and packaging
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in counting/packing medications and prior authorizations
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician within the state of employment
  • Familiarity with general pharmacy terminology, including SIG codes, brand, and generic names of medications
  • Proficiency with a computer and Windows PC applications, as well as the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Availability to work within our operating hours: Phoenix Pharmacy Hours: 9AM - 5PM MT, Sat & Sun: Closed
