About the Role

As a TMS Solutions Expert at Energy Services Group, you will play a vital part in growing our diverse product offerings by leveraging IT automation technologies and solutions.

Your primary objective will be to establish and maintain viable data partnerships with clients and trading partners, ensuring seamless data transfer between internal application systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client specifications and validations
  • Certification and integration testing
  • New transactional functionality development
  • Monitoring market changes and implementing updates
  • Authoring business logic for clients and trading partners

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also provide secondary production support, collaborating daily with counterparts across the organization, client base, and trading partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze and evaluate client needs
  2. Create and execute implementation test plans
  3. Develop data dictionaries, data mapping guidelines, and other pertinent documentation
  4. Manage client and trading partner requirements, offering tailored solutions
  5. Interpret market-specific Implementation Guidelines and format specifications (EDI, XML, etc.)
  6. Monitor market conditions
  7. Perform unit testing of translation solutions
  8. Support daily transaction environments, resolving issues related to transmission and customer/carrier data flow integrity, audits, and controls
  9. Communicate with internal resources within Mapping, Production, Security, QA, and Development/IT
  10. Manage testing with trading partners according to established testing plans
  11. Identify cross-market business rule and data validations as well as file specification consistency
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • The ability to work on multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and creatively solve problems
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • A working knowledge of various file formats, including EDI X12 standards
  • At least two years of experience providing project implementation support

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
