Job Summary:

As a Part-time Cardiac Sonographer at Baptist Health, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiogram exams using various ultrasound equipment. Your technical accuracy and cognitive sonographic skills will be essential in identifying and recording anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images. You will also maintain ultrasound equipment and work areas, ensuring a professional and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic echocardiogram exams using ultrasound equipment.
  • Record and maintain accurate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and work areas.

Requirements:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
  • Registered in Adult Echocardiography.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
