Job Summary

The City of Tolleson seeks a part-time Sports Assistant to support the planning and organization of recreational sports activities for youth and adults. This role will assist in implementing sports programs, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for all participants.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. They should demonstrate excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with a team, and possess strong communication skills when interacting with participants, coaches, staff, and the public.

Working Conditions

The Recreation Sports Aide will work outdoors and indoors, depending on the sports activities and events. This position involves physical activity, including setting up equipment, walking, standing for extended periods, and assisting participants as needed.

Compensation

This is a part-time position with an estimated hourly salary of $15.77-$22.08, depending on experience.
