Clinical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at K.A. Recruiting.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and location.
Job Description:
The Clinical Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for performing clinical testing and associated duties in all laboratory sections. This includes processing of specimens, documenting action taken using the Laboratory Information System, daily and weekly cleaning of equipment and work area, conducting Quality Control procedures, calibrating instruments, and complying with established Safety and Infection Control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical testing and associated duties in all laboratory sections
- Process specimens and document action taken using the Laboratory Information System
- Clean equipment and work area daily and weekly
- Conduct Quality Control procedures on analytical tests, instruments, re-agents, media, and other products
- Calibrate instruments and maintain quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and regulations. A Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or a related science with approved Clinical Laboratory Scientist training is preferred.
