Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Board Operator to join our team at Bonneville Phoenix. As a key member of our radio broadcast crew, you will be responsible for operating the on-air studio console and ensuring accurate broadcasts in compliance with FCC requirements.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
  • Operating the on-air studio console with precision and attention to detail.
  • Airing commercials as per program log.
  • Screening listener calls during talk programs when not utilizing a producer.
  • Maintaining accurate transmitter logs and program logs.
  • Verifying audio elements before they air to ensure problem-free playback.
  • Cross-training on other shifts in case of scheduling emergencies.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • 0-2 years experience in news/talk/sports radio control room work.
  • Digital/website experience is a plus.
  • The ability to drive company vehicles for remote broadcasts (valid driver's license and clean driving record required).
