Job Summary:

As a Sonic Drive-In General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Drive-In to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. This role is responsible for managing the Drive-In and its operations, ensuring an enjoyable experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop Great People to serve a SuperSONIC experience to every guest.
  • Leadership Approach: Demonstrate a Fair, Firm, Fun leadership style, leading by example and setting high standards for self and the team.
  • Profit and Loss Management: Manage a profit and loss statement to exceed expectations every week, month, and year.
  • Employee Concerns: Swiftly resolve employee concerns with a thoughtful approach.
  • Team Successes: Celebrate team successes and coach for better performance.
  • Expectations and Feedback: Set clear expectations and provide continuous feedback.
  • Atmosphere and Community: Create an upbeat positive atmosphere during the shift and get out in the community to make a difference and grow sales.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Maintain and enforce SONIC safety and sanitation standards.
  • Compliance: Relentlessly comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Management Experience: Prior management experience, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Positive attitude, excellent leadership and communication skills, and ability to prioritize and complete tasks accordingly.
  • Education: Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Availability: Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
