Endoscopy PreOp PACU Circulator RN

We are seeking a motivated Endoscopy Pre/Post Op, Circulator RN to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures in our state-of-the-art endoscopy center.
Responsibilities- Assess patient health status pre-operatively and ensure accuracy of identification wristband
- Verify operative and informed consents
- Determine surgeon and procedure being carried out
- Take and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedure
- Initiate IVs and ensure patients are informed about the procedure and attending medical staff
- Assess patients' condition after a surgery has been performed
- Ensure all vitals are within normal range
- Log all findings in patients' files
- Answer patients' questions and ensure they are kept comfortable
- Monitor patients for condition changes and report any changes to the doctor
- Initiate patient education programs to ensure both patients and families are educated on procedures and medications
- Perform intervention duties in cases of post-operative emergencies
- Assisting with equipment
- Serving as a patient advocate and ensuring patient safety at all times
- Assisting with positioning the patient
- Monitoring the patient's condition throughout the entire surgical process and acting quickly to respond to any changes
- Maintaining the sterile field at all times
- Exhibiting skillful clinical judgment and assessment skills
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, which reflects the candidate's level of experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting or ASC setting, a current unrestricted RN license in the state, and current American Heart BLS certification.
