Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist provides technical analysis and support during diagnostic cardiology procedures, working closely with cardiologists, registered nurses, and radiology staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical analysis and support during diagnostic cardiology procedures
  • Prepare documentation of technical information in a professional and timely manner
  • Work closely with cardiologists, registered nurses, and radiology staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Perform duties quickly, accurately, and with knowledge of priority
  • Maintain competent technical skills in the Cath Lab
  • Assist with gathering statistical data and performance improvement information

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6 months - 2 years of experience in acute care facility, cardiac cath lab (scrub, circulator, monitoring) roles and/or EP lab experience preferred
  • Associate's degree or higher in health sciences desirable
  • Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support- ACLS
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - RCIS or RCES (Electrophysiology Specialist) within 1 year preferred
