Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Medical Care Unit

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Johnston-Willis Campus VA. This is a unique opportunity for experienced nurses to provide high-quality care in a collaborative work environment.
Job SummaryThis full-time Travel Nurse RN position offers an estimated salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a 32-bed Medical Care Unit with a patient ratio of 6:1.
The ideal candidate will have certification in BLS and be able to work every other weekend and major holidays without call shifts. A strong understanding of standard nursing equipment, BiPAP, and Philips cardiac monitors is essential for this role.
About the UnitThe Medical Care Unit at Johnston-Willis Campus VA is known for its visible and involved leadership on all shifts, with support from the Director, Manager, and CCs. Nurses with varying experiences, from 20 years to new graduates, work together to provide excellent care.
The unit is equipped with modern facilities, including PD machines and Heparin Gtts. With a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, this is an ideal environment for nurses who value relationships with physicians and PCT/CNA/Nurse Extern support.
