Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted fundraising strategies to engage alumni, parents, and friends in securing major and planned gifts, focusing on emerging leaders and estate giving.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, identifying their interests and creating tailored approaches to align their philanthropic goals with Taylor's mission.
  • Steward major gifts, stay up-to-date on planned giving strategies, and collaborate closely with the Planned Giving Director to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate across university teams, attending key events to support fundraising efforts and drive progress toward annual targets.
Qualifications
  • A strong personal commitment to Christianity, alignment with Taylor's Statement of Faith, and adherence to the Life Together Covenant are essential.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in fund-raising or sales/marketing within a university, non-profit, or business setting is necessary.
  • A connection to Taylor University through alumnus status, parental affiliation, or demonstrated affinity is advantageous.
