Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care activities for students under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) at our School Health department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic monitoring of students, including vital signs, weight, and height, as well as conduct state-mandated screenings such as vision and hearing.
  • Assist with medication administration under appropriate clinical guidelines.
  • Document data for review by Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Perform basic clerical functions and support in maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
  • Medical Assisting background preferred, and healthcare experience strongly preferred.
