Principal Systems Integration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Systems Integration Engineer to join our team at Abacus Technology Corporation. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities- Design and integrate complex systems, ensuring seamless interactions between hardware and software components.
- Develop and deploy processes to ensure weapon systems are fully integrated, manufactured, sustained, and operationally safe throughout their life cycle.
- Apply airworthiness standards and procedures, as outlined in AFPD 62-6, to guarantee system safety and reliability.
- Collaborate with program offices to provide system integration guidance for installation and maintenance.
- Analyze technical proposals and modifications to assess design feasibility and system capability.
- Conduct performance effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical, and schedule risk assessments.
- 15+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Ability to apply DoD, AF, and common engineering/scientific principles to improve system performance and sustainability.
- Knowledge of systems engineering processes, including system definition, development, integration, verification, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing, and evaluation.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, technical staff, and end-users.
