About the Club
The Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing youth from ages 5 to 18 with a safe and supportive environment to develop themselves and form connections with their peers. Our mission is to help every child achieve success.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Club Membership Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing daily Membership Desk operations at one of our two sites, with a strong emphasis on clerical functions and customer service. This is a part-time position working Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm and Tuesday, Thursday 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to members, parents, and visitors
- Manage Membership Desk and Lobby operations to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure safety policies and guidelines are followed by visitors
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum of two (2) year equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience as an office assistant, front desk associate, or related field
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deal with the general public in a friendly and professional manner
- Self-motivated and directed, able to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy, including database management
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to comply with company policy regarding background checks
Benefits
- $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience
