Dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Soliant is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in California. In this school-based position, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with SLPs to conduct comprehensive speech and language screenings for students.
- Provide direct therapy to students, implementing treatment plans created by supervising SLPs.
- Assist in preparing materials and developing therapy activities to support student learning.
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting observations to supervising SLPs.
- Support students in improving their communication skills in individual and group settings.
- Participate in meetings with teachers and staff to ensure effective support for student communication needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Current California SLPA license.
- Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
