vAcute is a 24x7 virtual acute care department that provides patients with access to medical professionals 365 days a year. Our team of navigators, RNs, Advanced Practice clinicians, and board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians work collaboratively to deliver patient-centered care.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Care Coordinator to join our team. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating patient experiences at Mercy Virtual by providing coordinated personal, professional, and compassionate service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls from patients/family in the vAcute Program
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Medical Office, Emergency Department, or Hospital
- Required Education: High school diploma
- Certifications: BLS required or within 6 months of hire
- Other: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Professional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in triage software and electronic medical record
Compensation and Benefits:
- $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
- Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education
- Health/Dental/Vision available after day one
- Annual contribution of $100 per month to eligible co-workers enrolled in the Dependent Care FSA
