Job Responsibilities

The Structural Designer/Drafter will play a key role in our facilities practice, assisting in the delivery of structural engineering services for various projects, including healthcare, higher education, entertainment/hospitality, government, aviation, and industrial developments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Create detailed structural models and designs using Revit software
  • Collaborate with structural engineers to develop and refine project construction documents
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines (Architects and MEP engineers) in the delivery of structural designs
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success
  • Evaluate designs for compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • An Associate's degree in Drafting, Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software
  • A strong understanding of building codes, standards, and construction methods
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
