Job Details:

  • Compensation: $per day, with the potential for overtime and bonuses.
  • Positions Available: 1.
  • Duration: A 13-week assignment provides stability and security for this position.
  • Shift Times: Work a 3x12-hour night shift, from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with regular breaks to maintain your well-being.
  • Ratios: Enjoy a comfortable 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio, allowing for personalized attention and care.
  • New Graduates Welcome: Yes, we welcome new graduates and first-timers to join our team.
  • Weekend Requirements: Expect to work every other weekend, providing a healthy work-life balance.
  • On-Call Requirements: No, you won't be required to be on-call during your assignment.
  • Unit Floating: Yes, you may be required to float between units, including mother-baby, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Block Scheduling: Per manager discretion, we can accommodate block scheduling to suit your needs.
  • Pending License Acceptance: No, a pending license is not accepted for this position.
  • RTO Restrictions: Please include RTO information at the time of submission to avoid any delays.
  • Guaranteed Hours: The facility guarantees hours once per two-week pay period, providing financial stability.
  • Type of Facility: This acute care hospital offers a challenging and rewarding environment for experienced nurses.
  • Total Staffed Beds: With 320 beds, our facility has ample opportunities for growth and development.
  • Scrub Color: Familiarize yourself with our color-coded scrub policy to ensure seamless integration into our team.
  • Charting: We utilize Meditech for efficient charting and documentation.
  • Parking: Enjoy complimentary parking at our facility, reducing stress and increasing productivity.

Requirements:

  • A valid unrestricted California nursing license is mandatory for this position.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Certs REQUIRED: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, and NRP certifications are necessary for this role.
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in nursing is required.
  • Supervisory references are expected for successful applicants.
