Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Collins. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and schematics to understand equipment specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems.
- Document work order progress using the company's maintenance tracking system.
- Clean and maintain working areas and equipment.
Requirements:
- Two years of previous experience in a related field or successful completion of the Millwright Trainee program.
- Proficient abilities in welding, cutting, fitting, lubrication, and component maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to follow all company, state, and federal safety rules.
Work Environment: The Millwright will work in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to dust, noise, and variable temperatures and weather conditions.
