Medical Assistant Job Description
Community Health Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Hartville Family Physicians. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient-centered care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Complete patient assessments and documentation, including vital signs, patient history, and medications
- Perform patient procedures such as injections, EKGs, urinalysis, ear irrigations, and breathing treatments
- Engage in effective patient follow-up and phone triage
- Assist with office procedures and maintain examination rooms
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant, LPN, STNA, or Phlebotomist certification
- Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills with adults and children
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Positive teamwork approach
