We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As an RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive healthcare experience.


Job Summary

The RN is responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, identify areas of concern, and develop evidence-based care plans that address their unique needs.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective care delivery, including ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and making informed decisions about treatment.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with clear, concise information about their conditions, treatments, and self-care instructions.
  • Communication: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, lab results, and other pertinent information to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Licensure: Current RN licensure in the State of Vermont.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Experience: Prior related nursing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge of basic computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $32.57 - $55.09 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
