Join Our Team as a Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team at our Fort Worth Urgent Care Center.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our Urgent Care setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clinical staff and physicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous patient assessments, form diagnoses, and interventions according to approved protocols and evidence-based medicine.
  • Treat an average number of patients per hour based on the requirements per UCC policy.
  • Prescribe a variety of modalities to meet the needs of patients and families presenting to the UCC.
  • Supervise clinic personnel as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience or related specialized area strongly preferred.
  • Preference given to APPs with critical care, ED, or urgent care experience.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60-$80 per hour, plus differential pay for select shifts. Our full-time APPs enjoy fantastic benefits, including PTO, CME, comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
