Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
- Demonstrate competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
- Potentially float to any other unit within the hospital.
- Work involves a mix of acute care and outpatient recovery.
Requirements:
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher nursing degree program within 15 months of hire if the candidate has less than one year of licensed registered nurse experience.
- Completion of the degree program within 5 years of enrollment, or 6 years for MSN, DNP, or PhD programs in Nursing.
