About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at State Correctional Institution (SCI) in Dallas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a nursing team and make a real difference in the lives of inmates.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising clinical and administrative duties related to nursing services at SCI Dallas. This includes ensuring adequate coverage on all shifts, approving leave requests, scheduling personnel, and authorizing overtime for clinical staff.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance nursing skills
  • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to ensure quality care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve therapeutic goals
Requirements
  • Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania or an active temporary permit
  • Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse or four years of professional nursing experience
  • Ability to perform essential job functions
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $114,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health coverage, vision, dental, and wellness programs. We also offer multiple retirement and investment plan options, paid vacation and sick leave, eight weeks of paid parental leave, military leave, and paid time off for most major U.S. holidays.
