We are seeking a skilled Hotline Specialist to join our team at the NYC Anti-Violence Project. In this critical role, you will contribute to providing crisis intervention and support to LGBTQ and HIV-affected individuals, utilizing your expertise to connect callers with vital resources and services.
About the Position:
- Staff the 24-hour hotline, responding to calls, emails, and messages from the LGBTQ and HIV-affected community.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Hotline Programs to develop and implement training programs for volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional support.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, tracking client interactions and providing data-driven insights to inform program development.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance hotline operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
- Cultivate relationships with local organizations and advocacy groups, promoting partnerships and collaborations that advance the mission of the NYC Anti-Violence Project.
