Kitchen Steward Assistant

The Rose Gaming Resort is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen.

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our staff and guests.
  
• Maintenance and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dry storage and walk-in coolers, to ensure efficient workflows and minimize waste.
  
• Waste Management: Empty kitchen trash receptacles and properly dispose of garbage to maintain a clean and odor-free environment.
  
• Daily Tasks: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing, to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  
• Safe Work Practices: Incorporate safe work practices in your daily tasks to prevent accidents and injuries.
  
• Equipment Maintenance: Break down kitchen equipment for cleaning using approved chemicals to ensure they are properly maintained and sanitized.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as government laws and regulations.
  
• Supply Management: Replenish supplies with clean ware to ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  
• Additional Duties: Perform all duties in a safe and careful manner and be available to perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for longer than 8 hours, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job.
  
• Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
