About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Anesthetist Development Professional to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. This is a unique opportunity for recent Nurse Anesthesia Program graduates or those nearing completion to gain valuable experience and financial incentives as they complete the last 6 months of their training.
Responsibilities
- Professional Development
- Support the development of clinical skills and knowledge through participation in simulation clinics, IFE educational seminars, and quality and safety training.
- Information Management
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Management
- Demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
Qualifications
Education
Must be a Registered Nurse within six months of graduation from a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.
Experience
Currently enrolled in a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist training program with expected graduation within six months.
Licensure
Must possess a valid, unencumbered Connecticut RN license by the start of the program.
Special Skills
Must have sharp concentration and focus, along with the ability to stay calm under stressful conditions. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
