Job Description

About the Job

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist with experience in home health settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, planning, implementing, and supervising therapeutic programs for patients in need of physical therapy services. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments of patient needs and potential.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic programs to restore physical function, improve range of motion, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, or functional ability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of therapeutic programs into overall patient care plans.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on techniques, exercises, and precautions to improve physical function and prevent future injuries.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, reactions to treatment, and changes in condition or treatment plan.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a home health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to adapt to changing situations.

Compensation
