Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Clarivate Analytics US LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our R&D, clinical, and regulatory solutions to top-tier life sciences customers.

Your primary objective will be to close sales in assigned territory, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual quota objectives. You will identify new prospects and business opportunities, initiate and develop relationships with prospective clients at executive levels, and negotiate contracts with customers.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of the target market and business needs of target customers, analyzing customer and market changes, and adapting sales strategies accordingly.

About the Team

Our Strategic Account Management team services key life sciences customers, helping them advance medical innovation through our full suite of R&D, Real-World Data, and Commercialization solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Close sales in assigned territory, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual quota objectives
  • Identify new prospects and business opportunities
  • Initiate and develop relationships with prospective clients at executive levels
  • Negotiate contracts with customers
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the target market and business needs of target customers
  • Analyze customer and market changes and adapt sales strategies accordingly

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the life sciences industry
  • Minimum 4-5 years in a sales role
  • Deep knowledge of the biopharma R&D cycle
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions to VP-, SVP-, and C-suite executives
  • Proficiency using CRM (SalesForce) and sales enablement tools

What We Offer

Core business hours in your time zone with the flexibility to support global colleagues and clients in other time zones as needed. This position can be performed remotely or near any of our US offices. Travel is required for customer and industry meetings (20%).
