**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Dining Service Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our dining staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

**Responsibilities:**
- Welcome and seat diners comfortably in the dining section
- Take customers' food and drink orders with precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and bar staff to deliver prompt and accurate orders
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, and drinks from our extensive wine stock
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving any issues promptly and efficiently
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing leftovers and setting tables for larger groups and special events
- Ensure that cooking utensils and the kitchen area are thoroughly cleaned after closing to meet state regulations

**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or associate degree in culinary studies or food and hospitality management
- Prior experience in a food serving establishment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of wine and various cuisines
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work well under intense time pressure and maintain a high level of stamina throughout your shift
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and safely transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
- Polite and hospitable attitude
