Norman Regional Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional clinical care to patients with surgical and nonsurgical conditions.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and a sign-on bonus. You will be responsible for collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care. Your primary duties will include conducting assessments, implementing care strategies, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement care strategies and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Delegate tasks safely and provide direct and indirect nursing care as needed
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) in Nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is also desirable.

You must hold a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required during orientation and must be maintained throughout your employment.

The estimated salary for this position is $27.74 - $45.46 per hour, depending on previous work experience. This includes evening differential ($2.50/hour), night differential ($3.00/hour), and weekend differential ($3.00/hour). A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is also available.
