Job Title: QA Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at AxisCare.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and usability of our software solutions through both manual and automated testing.

By conducting thorough testing and analysis, the QA Engineer will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products, ultimately enhancing the experience of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the objectives and functionality of each project, as well as the specific needs of our customers in the home care industry.
  • Develop and execute detailed testing plans to identify potential issues and ensure the quality of software features and enhancements.
  • Build out our automated end-to-end testing suite that covers our most critical user flows.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to communicate identified issues, verify fixes, and ensure the timely resolution of defects.
  • Produce informative and engaging demonstration videos to showcase new features and enhancements, facilitating comprehensive understanding across the organization.
  • Participate actively in meetings and product demos, providing valuable insights and feedback to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain a balance between speed and precision, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of AxisCare features and functionality, preferably gained through hands-on experience in the home care industry.
  • Curiosity and a creative mindset, with the ability to anticipate potential user scenarios and identify edge cases for testing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring thorough and accurate testing of software components.
  • Experience building out a resilient, reliable, and fast-running e2e test suite, ideally using a tool like Playwright.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, enabling efficient troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
  • Patient and persistent, with a commitment to resolving issues thoroughly.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Adaptable, able to adjust testing approaches to meet project requirements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and a collaborative approach to achieving project goals.
Working Conditions

Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

Compensation and Equipment
