**About the Role**
We are seeking an Eye Care Specialist to join our team at MRG Exams. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist looking for a flexible and meaningful way to contribute to the healthcare assessments of veterans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review medical records through a secure web portal to prepare for exams.
- Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
- Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam.
About the Position
This non-treating position emphasizes assessments, including Visual Field Testing, while providing independent contractor benefits. You will support veterans with their healthcare assessments through detailed evaluations and timely submissions of medical reports.
Requirements:
- An active license as an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
- Proficiency in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
- Strong analytical skills to analyze medical records and exam findings.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure accurate and timely report submissions.
What We Offer:
- A competitive estimated salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
- A flexible part-time commitment of one day per week, Wednesdays 8a-4p.
- Independent contractor benefits, including the ability to work remotely.
