Job Description

As a Registered Nurse with VCU Health System, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional patient care in various specialties. Our Ambulatory Float Pool offers flexibility and diversity, allowing you to work with different teams and develop a wide range of skills.

You will have the opportunity to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with no weekends or nights required. Additionally, you may be eligible for mileage reimbursement for distances beyond 25 miles from our downtown VCU Medical Center.

We offer a supportive work environment that values your expertise and encourages professional growth. As a Clinical Nurse II or III, you will demonstrate mastery of clinical skills and apply this knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility through compact state
  • AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of RN experience (Clinical II) or 3 years of clinical experience (Clinical III)
  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized by the corresponding state's Board of Nursing
