Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in our Respiratory Care department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and peak flow measurements.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Missouri.
  • 2 years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a teaching hospital setting.
  • Experience with airway management devices, including endotracheal tubes and tracheostomy tubes.
  • Knowledge of medication administration, including aerosol medications and inhaled steroids.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
