Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Grayson BMW. As a BMW Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance on both customer and dealership vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and carry out repair orders as dispatched.
  • Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to accurately determine repair needs.
  • Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for required repairs.
  • Execute high-quality, efficient repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, following BMW Center and Factory standards.
  • Conduct Quality Control checks to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for repair services.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, and ensure accountability for both dealership and personal tools.
  • Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Participate in continuous BMW proprietary training to enhance skills and stay updated on BMW's industry-leading technologies and processes.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that align with our company values in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Own a valid driver's license.
  • At least 5+ years previous of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent.
  • Previous European automotive technician experience a plus.
  • ASE certifications a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, MVR check, and maintenance of a valid driver's license.
