Our 219-bed acute-care hospital offers a wide range of services, including general medical and surgical inpatient care and treatment, emergency services, surgical services, behavioral health, comprehensive heart center, and diagnostic imaging. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing direct patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching, and collaborating with other nursing personnel to maintain standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.

The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. This includes communicating with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. The Registered Nurse must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $45.83 to $61.61.
