Salary: Competitive Pay PackageThe salary for this role ranges from $45.47 to $56.84 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description: MDS Coordinator & Floor NurseWe are seeking a skilled Clinical Reimbursement Specialist to join our team at Vi Living in Palo Alto, CA. As a Clinical Reimbursement Specialist, you will collaborate with the DON, CRM, and various disciplines to ensure completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), and associated processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to complete resident assessments and manage care planning processes.
- Ensuring timely completion of MDS and RAI documents to meet federal regulations and company policies.
- Managing resident tracking and case mix documentation to optimize reimbursement for services provided.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduation degree from a School for Registered Nursing.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an MDS/Clinical Reimbursement Nurse role, preferably in a Continuing Care Retirement Community setting.
- Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing is required.
- CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
- Excellent knowledge of case-mix, Federal Medicare PPS process, Quality Indicator Process, and OBRA regulations.
