Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at BridgePoint Healthcare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for administering nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current LPN license from the District of Columbia Department of Health
  • BLS certification
  • Previous experience in general nursing
