About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Market Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Washington, DC territory. As a Market Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand our market share. You will lead a regional team, including A&D Specialists/Managers, Market Specialists, Market Development Managers, and Business Development Managers. Your primary objective will be to promote Allsteel products and services, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional revenue and new product objectives.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure they meet their sales targets.
  • Analyze win-loss data to adjust sales strategies and resource allocation as needed.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and manage the financial performance of the region, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and address distribution coverage gaps, developing targeted plans to improve market share.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to drive business growth, including Finance, Bids, Proposals, Customer Service, and more.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • An accomplished sales leader with an exceptional sales record, preferably in the office furniture manufacturing industry.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales and sales management experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • MBA or similar advanced degree, preferred.
