Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager with expertise in Splunk to lead our team of consultants. This role requires a unique blend of technical proficiency and management skills to drive the growth of our technical team and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee project assignments, ensuring consultants are optimally utilized and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and track the progress of team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Address any team or project-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
  • Support Splunk Consultants when they have technical questions and roadblocks.
Splunk Technical Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement Splunk solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Perform Splunk installations, configurations, and upgrades.
  • Create and manage Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk-related issues for customers.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to customers based on Splunk data.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk features and best practices to ensure optimal performance and value for customers.
Qualifications
  • Experience with several data analysis tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT operations, security, and monitoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role with significant Splunk expertise.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably managing a team of consultants.
  • Strong technical skills in Splunk, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant Splunk certifications are highly desirable.
